This all-new Lexus GS F will be equipped with a 5.0L V8 engine that will produce 467 horsepower.

Lexus introduced its new Sedan the GS F to the whole world at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) 2015. This new Sedan will provide space to five adults and will have four doors.

The GS F is a sports sedan which basically combines a luxury cruiser with the handling of a sports car. This is the newest addition to the ‘F’ lineage that was started by the company in 2008 with the IS F sedan and the lineage is famous for its high performance. A

fter 2008 we saw the LFA in 2012 and last year we experienced the RC F coupe. The GS F has been built upon the GS 350 F SPORT with a comprehensive set of upgrades.

Yukihiko Yaguchi the chief engineer of GS F stated that the cars with the ‘F’ designation are basically meant to generate a very good feeling for the drivers when they are behind the wheel.

He explained that with the GS F the company wanted to make a special car that would easily pass the expectations of the most discerning driving enthusiast along with something that every customer would enjoy driving.

He said that the GS F will definitely hold to the name of the ‘F’ lineage and everyone that drives the car will be satisfied with the performance.

Moreover the GS F sedan will be equipped with a naturally aspirated 5.0 liter V8 that will produce a sonorous 467 horsepower and a peak torque of 389 lb.-ft. Plus this new sedan will come with four different driving modes that include Normal, Sport, Eco and Sport S+.

The GS F also comes along with a custom firm suspension along with wider forged wheels shod with staggered Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. Plus this suspension has been combined with an enhanced braking system that relies on 15 inch front rotors.

Plus the GS F is 300 pounds less than its key German sedan competitors and all these features combined help the GS F to deliver such good handling and a high degree of driver control.

Well you must be thinking that due to all the sporty touches the GS F must have lost its luxurious feel but this is not the case. This is due to the high grade Alcantara trim that has been used on the doors.

An analog clock has also been added in order to provide a classy look to the already elegant dashboard. The dashboard has been equipped with a 12.3 inch central video monitor that is controlled by the Remote Touch Interface on the center console.

This shows that Lexus has taken care of all the small details even, in order to provide its customers with top driving experience along with a luxurious feel. The GSF will certainly be a sedan that is worth watching at the NAIAS 2015 which is being held in Detroit from January 12-25.
