Tom Cruise’s Son Connor Cruise Slams Caitlyn Jenner Over ESPY Courage Award

After many celebrities showed their support for Caitlyn Jenner’s gender transition, a handful have done the exact opposite, including Tom Cruise’s son, Connor Cruise.

In case you were wondering what Connor Cruise had to say about Caitlyn Jenner’s transition (which we think you weren’t), he has expressed his feelings on Twitter publically in a spiteful rant. The 20-year-old kid of Tom Cruise took to Twitter to send a number of messages to explain why he didn’t think that Caitlyn deserves the ESPY’s prestigious Arthur Ashe Courage Award.

The kid posted on June 3rd on Twitter that she did not deserve the award at all. It was a shame that people felt that she deserved it. He explained that his intention was not to hurt anybody but everybody was taking the topic of gender transition way too seriously.

Caitlyn did not deserve all the attention. He said that there are a lot of serious issues going around in the world that deserve far more attention than Caitlyn changing her gender. He was bummed that many more important people who actually deserved an award were not getting one, while Caitlyn was.

He said that he was totally supportive of people staying true to who they are and what they want. They must find happiness by being their true selves but there are just way more things that everybody as a team should be working on for the sake of the planet instead. 

Connor tried to throw light on some serious issues that needed attention, such as that fact that the world is overfishing and in 30 years there will be no more fish left on the planet for people to eat.

He said that 85 percent of the world’s protein comes from fish. And that’s one of the thousands of things that must be of higher importance than what everybody is currently concerned about. He went on to say that nobody seems to care about the fact that our planet is becoming less habitable each day and the population is increasing at an alarming rate.

People do not seem to even get along with each other on this planet, they are after each other fighting and killing, yet everybody is concerned about Jenner changing her gender. We are currently engaged in a war and poverty is simply getting out of hand. All of this needs to change.

Well, he shared his message with everybody but the world seems to be unfair. There is no freedom of speech. It seems like he received a backlash from the world of followers on Twitter which made him tweet back the message that the media had twisted the real meaning of his comments.

He explained this to E! News by saying that as everybody /4/have read he in fact supported Caitlyn. He is glad that she is happy. He just wants people to see the importance of other things in life as well.

Well we just hope that people understand the true message of Connor Cruise and keep on supporting him as well as Caitlyn Jenner.
