According to recent reports, we /4/not see updated Apple TV this WWDC
While we all have been hearing rumors of a redesigned Apple TV set box being introduced this June at Worldwide Developers Conference, it seems that the new Apple TV set box is still not ready for its official appearance. Brian X. Chen of New York Times sheds light on the matter regarding the delay stating to the reason from Apple to be ‘not ready for prime time’ It is worth noting that Apple has not introduced a new version for its Apple TV since 2012.

Though it is still likely that we /4/see the all new Apple TV making its appearance later this year alongside the much rumored Apple’s subscription television service. If the recent rumors are to be taken seriously, we might expect the all new Apple TV to host a number of improvements which include a full App Store with support for apps and games, Siri support and even a SDK for developers. Moreover, it is also rumored to include an A8 chipset, a bump in internal storage and possibly a touch-based remote.
The Worldwide Developers Conference, hence, will be focusing on the all new IOS 9, OSX 10.11 and the Beats-based music streaming service. We will most probably also witness Apple’s plan to debut native Apple watch apps for his Apple watch. All in all, it is shaping to be an exciting Worlwide Developers Conference this year around, and we can’t wait to get to know more about it.
