NFL announced that Super Bowl 2018 will be hosted in Minnesota.
Super Bowl 2014 has just happened a couple month ago, but the focus is now on where the Super Bowl 2018 (Super Bowl LII) will take place. Super Bowl 2018 will be hosted in Minnesota in a brand-new stadium in Minneapolis.
Minnesota was the frontrunner because of the new stadium that will cost more than $1 billion. The city held its last Super Bowl back in 1992. The new stadium is supposed to open in 2016. Super Bowl 2108 will be again a cold weather Super Bowl, but at least this time there will be roof over the stadium. The new stadium is quite stunning. The Super Bowl 2015 (Super Bowl XLIX, 49th Super Bowl) will take place in Glendale, Arizona in the University of Phoenix Stadium. The big game of 2015 will be on Sunday, Feb. 1, 2015.
Super Bowl 2014 brought us an historic win of the Seattle Seahawks. The big game was played in the Metlife stadium in East Rutherford.
