Google puts up a little easter egg to celebrate this milestone
The Psy sensation took over the world with more than just a bang. The Korean pop star, named Park Jae-sang is the man behind the most popular song of our time; the incredible Gangnam style which was released back in 2012. The song in entirely in Korean and despite the language not being known to the rest of the world, the song made a hit all over, particularly being a craze on Youtube.
In 2012, when the video for the song first came out, it turned out to be the first video on Youtube which crossed the 1 billion likes mark. So much so that it crossed Justin Bieber’s ‘Baby’. The likes kept flowing for Gangnam style and now even after two years, we are still counting.

At this moment, once again the video has become the first one on Youtube to hit the 2 billion mark. Justin Bieber’s ‘Baby’ has merely 1 billion likes and now Psy’s Gangnam has twice as much which just shows how popular the song is. It’s not every day that a song’s video manages to get 2 billion likes and to celebrate this achievement Google has put in a little Easter Egg on the YouTube page. After clicking on the dancing Psy you will get a little surprise.
