The new beta doesn’t really offer anything game-changing but the whole interface is quite a bit easier on the eye
It seems that Apple has been paying some extra attention to its Apple TV and since the iOS 8 was announced at the WWDC even this year, we were quite really hoping for an enhancement to the software on the set top box. We now have a new beta for Apple TV’s alternative iOS software and this new beta is going to show off some aesthetic tweaks in-keeping with the appearance of the wider product line-up. The little black box was neglected some time ago but now Apple seems to be focusing on making it better with price drops and new content channels.

Since there is nothing game changing, don’t expect anything out of the ordinary from the new beta rolled out by the fruit company. However, the interface has been tweaked and it appears to be much easier on the eyes now. Skeuomorphism was nowhere to be seen once Apple launched the iOS 7 and the design language soon followed into the recently announced OS X 10.10 Yosemite and Apple TV soon followed suit.
Now that Apple has brought forth a new beta, we are left to wonder whether there will be any developments in the hardware sector as far as the Apple TV is concerned or not. It has been years since we have been hearing about the Apple team cooking up a fourth gen edition but there is less evidence available to believe so.
