Nominees for the Emmy Awards 2014 have been announced already. Emmy predictions for Hollywood TV actors and actresses are here in all their Nostradamus-like glory.
Emmys are the TV Academy awards that honor the best people in their fields each year from the past 66 years. Emmys annual awards ceremony of this year will air live on Monday, August 25 at 8pm ET/5pm PT on NBC.
The 66th Primetime Emmy Awards are in the air and they will have many nominations but few winners. According to the prognostications and prophecies for the upcoming event, there are those who ought to win and those who actually do.
For Drama, Breaking Bad actor Bryan Cranston is the favorite fantasy figure of so many. But realistically speaking it will probably be Matthew McConaughey for his role in True Detective.
As for screen sirens in comedic roles…it’s a tie for Julie Louis Dreyfus for the series Veep. The best actress in matters of dramatics is Robin Wright for House of Cards while the crowd favorite is Julianna Margulies for the Good Wife.
For the comic actor category, Ricky Gervais is tops for Derek while Jim Parsons has won hearts for The Big Bang Theory. As for reality TV, The Voice is the real life chosen one while The Amazing Race is quite liked by everybody.
In variety shows, The Daily Show with John Stewart will probably take the trophy while The Colbert Report is the slated darling of the television watchers. Coming to the miniseries, it is a tie once again as Fargo tugs at the heartstrings of the people.
The movie matinee genre has The Normal Heart nominated with full confidence. Meanwhile, Sherlock: His Last Vow is loved beyond belief by everyone.
Finally, the best comedy and drama have a straightforward choice in the form of Modern Family and Breaking Bad. Some actors who have made it into the good books of the common people include the trio of Kevin Spacey, John Hamm and Woody Harrelson.
Breaking Bad and House of Cards are especially going places. And as for the list of actresses, they include: Claire Danes, Lizzy Caplan and Kerry Washington.
Others in the cards include such illustrious names as: Lena Dunham, Tina Fey, Michael J. Fox, Kelsey Grammer, Alec Baldwin, Matt LeBlanc, Andy Samberg, Minnie Driver, Michael Sheen, James Spader, Jon Voigt, Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys.
