H&M teamed up with Delivery Agent for the first shoppable TV ad as if David Beckham is not enough to draw attention.

Are we going to witness the future of shopping during the Super Bowl 2014? At least H&M is giving it a shot. H&M will utilize Delivery Agent’s t-commerce platform to shop-enable their 30-second Super Bowl 2014 ad featuring David Beckham. You will have the opportunity to use your remote control to engage with the ad content and opt-in to purchase products as watch Beckham wearing his new Spring collection of David Beckham Bodywear. That is right, you can buy Beckham undies right there on you TV, if it is a new Samsung Smart TV.

H&M is the first retailer to launch a fully enabled t-commerce advertising campaign. The campaign also includes the launch of an H&M t-commerce boutique accessible to consumers 24/7 by visiting Delivery Agent’s ShopTV on select Samsung Smart TVs. Additionally, you can access the boutique via ShopTV on the web, and on mobile devices and tablets.

“This is a game-changer for the advertising industry,” said Mike Fitzsimmons, Delivery Agent CEO. “With the upcoming launch of the t-commerce-enabled H&M Super Bowl XLVIII ad, we are collectively redefining the power and effectiveness of television advertising. Years ago, the world talked about the potential associated with buying Jennifer Aniston’s sweater. H&M, in an industry first, will now realize that potential by making their Super Bowl XLVIII ad actionable and directly measurable.”

H&M already aired a David Beckham Super Bowl ad in 2012. Watch that below.

Super Bowl 2014 will take place in New Jersey on February 2, 2014. The big game will be played in the Metlife stadium in East Rutherford. It will be the first outdoor, cold-weather Super Bowl.
