With the release of the new trailer for Season 7 of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, we will see Kenya Moore and her fellow newbie stars in more permanent roles than some much more experienced stars that have been bumped off the show.
At the season six reunion party of RHoA, Kenya was attacked by Porsha Williams who was arrested and jailed later on battery charges. Excitement had not died down completely when the trailer for season seven of the show aired online and it is as exciting to watch as the show.
First surprise came as a shocker that Porsha Williams in no longer a ‘Housewife’ on the show. Her role has been reduced down as that of a supporting role of a ‘Friend’ and her best friend and newbie Claudia Jordan would be igniting the romance with Kordell Jordan this season.
Porsha is mad that her role has been cut down. She admits she did not want to go down in such a way. What might be more depressing for Porsha fans is that her role wasn’t cut down because of her fight with Kenya.
The production thought that Porsha’s life was getting too drab for the show compared to the other housewives and it was better to drop her in the background and feature more interesting life stories, one of them being Kenya’s.
We will continue with Kenya’s story where it left off in season six. She will be focusing on her producing career and her thoughts would be on having a baby for sure.
She will definitely be the one to watch out for in the show this season. Joining her this season would be the Housewives Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, NeNe Leakes and Phaedra Parks.
Nene has her fashion line and she will be looking forward to her Broadway debut with Keke Palmer. Kandi and Todd are expanding their family but there seems too be some mystery in Todd’s past which would unravel this season.
Cynthia is going to return as a stronger woman and Phaedra’s has dealt with Apollo Nida. He is behind bars and she is finally happy with her boys. The season starts with high hopes and happy starts.
There are some controversial names in the mix too. A guy named Roger Bobb seems to be the source of tension between the Housewives and their new friend Demetria McKinney.
Claudia Jordan’s relationship with Kordell Williams is not approved by Nene who resorts to calling Claudia names. The anticipation is too high and viewers can’t wait for Real Housewives of Atlanta to premiere on Bravo on 9th November on Sunday.
