Apple sends out invites for October 16th iPad & Mac event

The event is to take place at the Town Hall auditorium on its Infinite Loop Campus in Cupertino, California

All those Apple fans who had been waiting anxiously for the iPad Air 2 should be all ears here since Apple has just announced a keynote address for Thursday, October 16th. The event isn’t exclusive for the iPad Air 2 and Apple has a bunch of other announcements to make which makes this quite a huge event for apple fans. The keynote is scheduled to take place at the Town Hall auditorium on the company’s own Infinite Loop Campus in Cupertino, California.

Some selected members of the media along with special guests have already received invites to the event which like all other Apple events will kick off at 10 AM Pacific time/1 PM Eastern Time. This is going to be the second major Apple event for this fall and it is making use of the smaller, home court stage to debut updates to its iPad and Mac lines. At the event we will most likely see new versions of iMacs and some other software along with the iPad Air and the iPad mini latest additions.

About the new iPad Air we have been hearing about a slimmer and much thinner form factor with new M8 chip from the iPhone 6, Touch ID, enhanced camera features, animproved screen design, and, of course, a gold color option.
