Ariana Grande teams up with Little Big Town at the CMAs

Ariana Grande teamed up with the musical group Little Big Town at the CMAs and sang Bang Bang to intense applause from the audience.

Nicki Minaj and Jessie J must be getting fits of jealousy at Ariana Grande’s performance at the CMAs in conjunction with Little Big Town. The super group entered the stage scene at the 2014 CMAs with the diminutive pop starlet and they collectively sang Bang Bang. But before this the group sang its song titled Day Drinking.

Ariana had on her two piece dress and her classic cute little ponytail and wore heels that didn’t make her any taller. The 21 year old young adult sang Bang Bang to which the crowd rocked like there was no tomorrow.

The costume that Ariana wore almost looked 100% like what Katy Perry wore at one of her recent concerts. And though the group and Ariana were no comparison to Nicki’s rapping stacatto beats, they still proved once and for all that pop and country could be quite a duo once they combined forces. Especially the glowing outfits that the group wore made the night come alive with passion and flavor.

Little Big Town shared factoids about their trip with Ariana on Twitter. They are all set to go ahead with their Painkiller Tour next. Grande too added her share of comments on the Larry Bird site.

Meanwhile, Lorde will be lending her voice to the Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part I soundtrack. The song Yellow Flicker Beat has already gotten registered in public consciousness thanks to Lorde. Now she has revealed that Ariana and several other artists including The Chemical Brothers will be singing for the soundtrack. Their contributions will be most welcome on the much-anticipated movie starring Jennifer Lawrence.

The Hunger Games depicts a totalitarian state sometime in the future that starves its citizens and then forces them to compete in a death match in order to select the winners. The recent trailer follows the part where the soulmates Katniss and Peeta are forced to take on the state in order to preserve their bond.

All My Love which is a #1 hit single from Ariana is about to debut too. The getting together of the various artists for a common purpose which is to contribute to the second installment of Hunger Games is a worthy deed indeed.
