New Ford CEO to hold CES 2015 keynote.
The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) today announced that Ford Motor Co. president and CEO Mark Fields will deliver a keynote address at the 2015 International CES®. Owned and produced by CEA, the 2015 CES, the world’s gathering place for all who thrive on the business of consumer technologies, will run January 6-9, 2015, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Fields’ keynote address immediately follows the State of the Industry address by Gary Shapiro, CEA’s president and CEO which begins at 8:30 AM, Tuesday, January 6, 2015, in The Venetian’s Palazzo Ballroom. During his keynote, Fields will address what’s next for Ford and discuss the company’s commitment to innovation in all parts of its business.

Mark Fields was elected president and CEO of Ford effective July 1, 2014. Previously, Fields served as chief operating officer, Ford Motor Co., a position to which he was named in December 2012. Fields, who joined Ford in July 1989, has served in number of leadership positions for Ford globally, having led operations in Asia, Europe and South America. From 2005 to 2012, Fields served as executive vice president, Ford Motor Company, and president, The Americas, where he was responsible for the transformation of the company’s North America operations and record profitability. Fields was named a Global Leader of Tomorrow by the World Economic Forum in 2000 and CNBC’s Asian Business Leader – Innovator of the Year for 2001. He holds an Economics degree from Rutgers University and a Master of Business Administration from the Harvard Graduate School of Business.
Fields joins Samsung Electronics president and CEO Boo-Keun Yoon, chairman of the board of management of Daimler AG and Head of Mercedes-Benz Cars, Dr. Dieter Zetsche and Intel CEO Brian Krzanich, as part of the 2015 International CES keynote lineup.
