Cake Boss Buddy Valastro Arrested for Drunk Driving

Buddy Valastro was arrested due to reckless and drunk driving.

Buddy Valastro is known as the Cake Boss. He has been given this name because of his immense talent in baking. Recently he was arrested after he was stopped by NYC police when he was driving above allowed speed.

When police officers interrogated him it was revealed that he was drunk. Policemen were able to smell alcohol in his breath at the time of his arrest. He was stopped by a patrolling car as he was seen driving over speed. He was also seen changing lanes without any signal in erratic way. 

The 42-year-old Cake Boss was arrested on Thursday 1 a.m. in morning. He was taken to Penn Station after he was arrested by Police. This news was confirmed by New York Police Department. Upon interrogation it was seen that his eyes were blood shot. He was asked to give a sobriety test which he failed instantly proving that he was driving under influence. 

Buddy Valastro got his fame from his reality program that started back in 2009. He was shown running his family business in that program from where he was admired by many. His show was a success and he stared his business in a much better way.

He opened many franchises all over the world. One of his cafés is located in New York City’s Times Square. The name of that franchise is Cake Boss Café. 

His talent was hailed by many onscreen. It was said that he introduced baking skills in a much better way than it was ever seen. In the year 2012 he was enlisted in the most influential people of the country who brought tourist to US.

He is currently busy in expanding his business and working to improve Cake Boss franchises. Along with that he was also seen doing numerous charitable works in the country. He is famous for his good attitude and sweet nature.

After his arrest he pled that he was not guilty. He was then given bail without any punishment. He said that the was a good guy and did not had any law breaking history. After going home he shared his views with his fans.

He said that he was really happy that his fans supported him and he was grateful for that support. He said that everything was fine and he would surely share the whole story with his fans after some time. 

He was once asked by a reporter if he ever felt tired and anxious. Cake Boss had replied to that question by saying that he felt tired and frustrated at many times. He also said that he treated his anxiety by decorating cakes. He confessed that decorating his cakes with icing was one of his own therapeutic techniques. 

There was no formal press release made by Cake Boss Corporation upon Buddy Valastro’s arrest. They might be waiting for the things to cool down a bit before saying something like Buddy Valastro himself.
