The Hunger Games star visited the kids hospital in her hometown Louisville, Kentucky on Christmas Eve. She also visited the hospital last year and met all the patients in the hospital. Jennifer used to be an assistant nurse at a medical summer camp her parents used to run.
Christmas is definitely the celebration where everyone gives back. That is no exception to the stars that seem to be aloof but really are not. They give back to the people whole-heartedly.
Some give donations, some serve in soup kitchens like Kevin Bacon and his wife Kyra Sedgwick, Neil Patrick Harris and so many more but on Christmas Eve, Jennifer Lawrence decided to follow up on her trip to Kosair Children’s Hospital from last year.
Yes, the Hunger Games star, 24 decided to spend her Christmas Eve with sick children who have to spend their Christmas confined to the drab mood of a hospital.

You have to admit that no matter how hard the staff and doctors try to cheer the little patients a hospital is a dreary place to be on such festivity. However if your favorite star came to meet you herself, that would make your celebration complete.
Jennifer visited the hospital last year too and this year when she went back to her hometown, Louisville, Kentucky; she decided to follow up on what she had done and visited the children’s hospital once more.

Jennifer wasn’t very sensitive or precarious to pose with the patients. She has served as an assistant nurse at a medical summer camp run by her parents. So she admitted to Los Angeles Times, ‘It’s impossible to shock me or gross me out’.
