- Man charged with double fine and jail time for crashing into JLo’s Rolls Royce.
- 0.15 alcohol content in drivers blood stream at the time of the accident.
The man was driving under influence when he hit Jennifer Lopez’s Rolls Royce while she and friend Leah Remini were in it. Prosecutors have pursued for a heavy fine and jail time for the man.
On September 27th, Jennifer Lopez was having a great time with her friend Leah Remini. We know that because of the Twitter pic she posted while posing with Remini in the background.
While they were having a girls’ trip in the city on the Pacific Coast Highway; they were hit by another car at the rear.
Robert John Reitz, 53, a man from Las Vegas was driving under influence when he crashed his car in JLo’s Rolls Royce and fled the scene. The crash was very bad indeed with the rear side completely crushed but luckily no one got injured badly.
Upon checking his alcohol content, it came out to be .15. That is arguable as the DA reports say it was .08, which is still high.

Reitz was charged with double DUI charges and was presented in court in California. There, the prosecutors have pushed for harsh punishment for the man which includes $1,000 and six month worth of jail time.
This might be over the normal fine and punishment but the man was driving under influence in broad daylight. He crashed into a luxury vehicle with it’s owner still in it. That could cost him more.
JLo posted about the incident on her Instagram with hashtag Don’tdrinkanddrive. As a victim of the incident herself, the credibility of her message has doubled.
