Doritos Face-O-Rater analyzes your Face to Cast Vote for Doritos Super Bowl Ads

Doritos has a cool feature this year to cast your votes for the top 10 Doritos Super Bowl 2015 ad finalists. The Doritos Face-O-Rater uses you webcam to monitor your face while watching the ads. The more you laugh the higher the rating.

The Doritos Super Bowl 2015 Ad voting is live and there is a new way to cast your vote. The Doritos Face-O-Rater automatically analyzes your facial expressions while you watch one of the Top 10 Doritos Super Bowl ad finalists.

Doritos unveiled yesterday the top 10 Doritos Super Bowl ad finalists. Two finalist ads will air during the Super Bowl XLIX broadcast, one selected by fan votes on www.doritos.com and the other by the Doritos brand.  The creator of the ad receiving the most fan votes will win a guaranteed $1 million grand prize, as well as an opportunity unlike any other in the history of the contest: a chance to work as a contractor for a full year onsite at Universal Pictures in Hollywood, where they will lend their creative talents to a variety of projects, including future Universal Pictures releases such as “Pitch Perfect 2” and other big comedies.

Besides traditionally casting your votes, you can also use the Doritos Face-O-Meter feature. While watching the Doritos ads a wire-frame of your face gets overlaid on the video showing your facial expressions. The more you laugh while watching a Doritos ad the higher is the rating. This works pretty well.

It is hard to say which of the Top 10 Doritos Super Bowl 2015 ad finalits will air during the Super Bowl 2015. There are several good ones, but no break-out champion. My favorites include Middle Seat, Doritos Angler, When Pigs Fly and Selfish Sneezers.
