This new Handycam FDR-AX33 will be the first 4K Camcorder to feature balance optical SteadyShot Stabilization.
Sony Electronics is a worldwide leader in digital imaging and has announced today that it will be introducing its most compact 4K Handycam camcorder at the CES 2015 in Las Vegas. The new model FDR-AX33 is nearly 30 percent smaller and 20 percent lighter than the current FDR-AX100 4K Camcorder that was introduced at the CES 2014.
The new Sony FDR-AX33 4K Handycam model however features impressive Balanced Optical SteadyShot image stabilization and 4K 100Mbps high bitrate recording. This helps to bring new levels of performance to the consumer camcorder market.
Patrick Huang the director of the camcorder business at Sony Electronics stated that the popularity of 4K is increasing day by day and the consumers are eagerly finding for new and different ways to enjoy the platform.
He also stated that the new AX33 Handycam will bring the wonders of 4K personal content creation to a wider audience than ever before. He explained that the model will deliver a crystal clear 4K video from the palm of consumer’s hands. It the best choice for people who are looking for the highest possible quality he said.
Now the new model FDR-AX33 is Sony’s first 4K camcorder that will be featuring the renowned Balanced Optical SteadyShot image stabilization technology. This technology ensures that 4K video output is smooth, stable and bur-free even at focal lengths that range from wide angle to extended telescopic zoom.
Moreover the new model can record 4K video in the advanced XAVCS video format at an extremely high bit rate of 100 Mbps. This will allow each frame to be packed with outstanding detail and precision with minimal distortion. The users will be happy to use this Handycam for their video making.
The new model can also be used by advanced videographers. For these advanced videographers the new 4K camcorder includes a customizable manual ring and manual button. These can be assigned to key functions such as zoom, focus and exposure adjustments and much more.
The new model has also been equipped with a high performance electronic viewfinder which is nearly three times the resolution of previous models. Sony has also added a 3.0 Wide Xtra Fine LCD WhiteMagic display that will perform admirably well in every shooting environment. Plus this is not the end for users as Sony has many new introductions in the Full HD camcorder line-up for CES 2015. This includes the HDR-PJ670, HDR-PJ440, HDR-CX405 and HDR-CX440 models. This means that the consumers will have a wide variety to choose from.
