At the CES 2015 today, AltraRunning which is one of the fastest growing sunning shoe companies in the United States, has introduced its new Altra Halo shoe.
To take a better look at the new shoe interested people should visit the iFit’s booth#74321 at the CES 2015 in the Sands Expo Center.
Talking about the sensor in the shoe, the sensor is a razor thin electric sensor from iFit which has been built into the midsole. The sensor gives a feedback for three important elements of proper running form. These include Foot strike zone, ground force impact and cadence.
Brian Beckstead the VP of Sales for Altra stated that the company’s philosophy focuses on innovations in order to encourage natural running form. He stated that the company’s signature Foot Shape toe box and Zero Drop platform are natural running inventions.
Moreover Brian stated that the opportunity with the Altra Halo shoe is real time feedback as one runs. This he states allows for adjustment and improvement in ones running form.
You can see all the data from the Altra Halo sensor on your smartphone via an app or the new iFit Ridge and Peak models of GPS watches that are also introduced at CES 2015.
This Altra Halo shoe will be available at Christmas 2015 at price of $180 while the iFit Ridge and Peak watches will be available on July 1, 2015 at price of $120.
