NAIAS 2015 features Mercedes AMG GLE 63 Coupe 4MATIC

Mercedes has introduced its new GLE 63 Coupe at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) 2015. This four door coupe meets the highest of standards. These standards include design, performance and comfort.

Moreover all the Mercedes fans will be happy to learn that this vehicle has been equipped with the AMG 5.5 liter V8 biturbo engine and will generate 557 horsepower. Moreover Mercedes will also be giving its customers the option of selecting a highly sporty S-Model to choose from which will be producing 585 horsepower.

The suspension of this model has been systematically designed for a sporty performance by the company. This high performance four door SUV coupe will come along with the renowned AMG RIDE CONTROL sports suspension with active roll stabilization and the Sports Direct Steer System.

Moreover the 4MATIC all-wheel drive that has been added by Mercedes to this model with rear biased power distribution along with the DYNAMIC SELECT transmission modes will no doubt provide the best driving experience and performance. 

  Chairman of the Board of Management of Mercedes AMG GmbH, Tobias Moers stated that the company sees great potential in this new vehicle segment which is unique to the Mercedes AMG.

Moreover he stated that the GLE 63 Coupe is the best progress towards the company’s ambitious growth strategy. He also said that he is quite confident about the positive attitude that this new SUV will generate among the fans.

The new GLE 63 Coupe combines the sportiness of a coupe with the strength of an SUV and gives the driver the best driving performance. The car alos comes with the DYNAMIC SELECT transmission mode which for the first time has permitted such a wide spread of driving dynamics.

Mercedes is also providing its customers with five different transmission modes of Individual, Slippery, Comfort, Sport Plus and Sport. The driver can select any of these by using a rotary control on the center console. These help in providing the driver with different experiences.

Moreover the customers are also being given a choice between powerful and extra powerful. This includes the AMG 5.5 liter V8 biturbo engine that develops a maximum power of 410 kW and a torque of 700 Newton meters. This vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds. The Fuel consumption values of 11.9 liters per 100 kilometers.
