The rumors started sometime 12 months ago that Apple was inspecting vehicles and medical technology for the sake of its futuristic expansion. An exec from Apple held meetings with Elon Musk of Tesla Motors regarding these plans for the growth and future prosperity of the organization.

And although Musk did engage in parleys with that particular Apple exec, no results as regards mergers were forthcoming. Now we know why exactly the medical equipment was being explored by Apple Incorporated.
