Taylor Swift dazzles at SNL 40 Show

Taylor Swift stuns at the SNL 40 red carpet, delivers an amazing hair chewing performance in ‘The Californians’ and readies herself for incoming Bridesmaid duties.

Taylor Swift is undeniably the whole package as she crushed the SNL red carpet last night, or should we aptly describe it ‘the blue carpet’ after Swift dominated in a blue mini. The 40th anniversary of SNL took place on the 15ht of February and Taylor Swift dazzled everyone with her winsome style.

Swift showed up in style in an ‘Azzaro’ baby blue dress signifying her signature style of pretty yet classic. The blue ‘Palatine’ dress from the Spring/Summer 2014 collection of Azzaro is sleeveless high-necked dress with cut out at the mid riff. Swift’s make up was minimum and her hair was effortlessly styled. All in all Swift’s ensemble was one of the best fashion looks of the night.

Fans already knew Swift had the style and voice on pint but now she has even revealed her acting chops. During an epic rendition of the series ‘The Californians’ a mock series about a bunch of Californian that give advice about driving around California.

Swift played a hair chewing dumb blonde Californian but with just a few lines, a big stare and disappearance behind her hair Taylor won the hearts of all the viewers present. SNL shared the GIF of Swift as a hair eating Californian on their Twitter page, especially praising Swift’s performance by declaring she was born for the part.

Accompanying Swift in the skit were Bradley Cooper and Betty White, the duo who gave a momentous make out scene that will live in our memories and digital history forever.

Swift further went on to prove her amazing sense of humor when she encouraged her fans to use the hashtag #Swiftamine on twitter for SNL’s 40th. Swiftamine is a mock term for antihistamines that patients take when they experience vertigo as a result of discovering their love for Taylor Swift’s music.

Other than being a style, acting and music icon in her professional life, Swift is on her A-game with new bridesmaid duties. Swift has proved again and again she is the best friend a girl can have and especially for her childhood friend ‘Brit Maack’ who knew Swift before the fame.

Recently Swift shared a photo of a note from her best friend on Instagram, asking Swift to be her best friends Maid of Honor. The note was placed along the two best friend’s childhood photo in animal costumes. Swift captioned the photo as ‘YEAH I WILL’ and announced to the whole world her incoming role as the maid of honor.
