Lady Gaga celebrates her engagement to Taylor Kinney on Valentine’s Day

Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney got engaged this Valentine’s day and celebrated the news with a massively beautiful ring and a champagne toast with the family.

They have been dating since 2011 when they met at the set of the music video of Gaga’s song “You & I”. Since then the couple only broke off briefly in 2012 only to get back together. They have moved in together since and Gaga has been hinting that she wants to marry Kinney.

Lady Gaga has admitted that he is ‘the right guy’ and she can tell because it feels right. This has been giving spark to the rumor that they were already engaged but the big step didn’t happen until this Valentine’s Day.

Yes! The pop sensation and the Chicago Fire star got engaged on Valentine’s Day. Supposedly Kinney was looking for the perfect ring and he finely found it. Gaga has posted a picture of the dazzling ring on her Instagram captioned with the message, “He gave me his heart on Valentine’s Day, and I said YES!” That’s true because the engagement ring is literally a heart shaped diamond.  It sparkled on her finger when they went to celebrate the news of their engagement with Gaga’s family.

Times Herald-Record executive editor Barry Lewis bore witness to the couple’s engagement celebration while enjoying a romantic dinner with his wife Bonnie. The couple saw Gaga and Kinney make their way to the bar of Manhattan eatery, Joanne Trattoria co-owned by her father, Joe Germanotta with chef and author Art Smith. They were flanked by two bodyguards.

As the singer broke the news of her engagement to her family, all of them celebrated. Mr. Germanotta popped open a champagne bottle to celebrate and welcome Kinney to the family. Kinney looked sheepish among the celebration as could be expected.

According to Lewis, the couple celebrated whole-heatedly. Kinney posted a picture of the celebration on Instagram as well and captioned it “she said YES on Valentine’s Day.” The picture shows two sparkling things, her beautiful ring and their amazing smiles. The fans have took congratulating the couple on Instagram.

Lewis congratulated the singer as she made her way out of the restaurant and as she turned to thank him, the couples exchanged warm greetings and best wishes. Gaga has already transitioned into the role of a loving partner as she has admitted that she takes care of their house and cooks for Taylor. She said that he is a working man and he doesn’t need to be told what to do by her. He is in charge at home and they are definitely ready for the next step in their lives.
