An unusual wedding story emerges out of India today. A bride married a wedding guest because to groom had an epileptic attack.
This could be the weirdest wedding ever reported about. A bride married a wedding guest instead of the groom in India. The groom had an epileptic attack just when the ceremony would start. He fell to the ground in front of the wedding party.
Apparently the groom has withheld from his finance that he was epileptic. The 23-year-old bride Indira was not stumped for long and announced to marry a wedding guest who turned out to be her sister’s brother-in-law. Surprisingly the man agreed and they got married at the spot.
25-year-old Jugal Kishore found out when he came back from the doctor that his fiancé was already married. He and his family tried to plea with her, but she stood by her spontaneous decision. The whole thing ended in a brawl.
The Times Of India reports that Kishore’s family filed a report with the police, but the matter has now been settled after elders have intervened.
It is not clear if the bride and her new husband had relations before. There must have been a connection that goes beyond just knowing each other via her sister. It could also be that a wedding in that region of India is a real hassle to prepare and that the bride had no motivation to go through that again.
This is not the only wedding story that goes viral right now. An Australian bride sent an un-invite to her parents. The un-invite reads: “Together with our friends and family, Alex and Alyssa, would like to invite you to suck it and bask in our happiness, your bitterness and our mutual irritation at each other’s existence, as we completely ignore yours and celebrate our marriage without you. There will be a lovely ceremony, followed by cake, food and general merriment. And you’re not invited to any of it. Because f!@# you that’s why.”
The bride ran away from home ago after suffering through 16 years of abuse. This story is actually already been posted by reddit user SkitzoCat 5 month ago, but has not gone viral in media until this week.
