- Carly Rae Jepsen hits the charts with her new single “I Really Like You”
Carly Rae Jepsen releases her single I Really Like You from her album of the same title. The track tops the iTunes charts with its video soon to be released.
Carly Rae Jepsen, a talent Justin Bieber takes the credit of introducing took the charts by force with her super hit single “Call Me Baby” The track generated amazing Billboard rating and was nominated for multiple awards. “Call Me Maybe” became a cult favorite with its peppy tune and catchy lyrics. Her album Kiss followed and then it was radio silence from the young Canadian star.
It might be Carly’s own sin when she set the bar too high for herself. The producers might have been telling her that she needed to pull off another “Call Me Maybe” or something higher of she wanted her spot back on the charts.
Carly might have been taking all their advice and working a lot because just when we had forgotten that she might have been finished, she came back with a bang. Yes! Carly’s back. With her newest single, “I Really Like You” Trust me it’s really really close to “Call Me Maybe”

The song uses the syllable “Really” like 67 times so the song is like really, really fresh. I Really Like You is about that stage in a relationship where a person is past the I like you phase but not quite on the I love you. So in between happens the ‘I really, really, really like you’ stage and according to Carly, that’s the best stage in a relationship.
The song was released and topped the iTunes list. The video of the song is also generating a lot of conversation as Carly revealed a photo of Tom Hanks laughing with her on Instagram.
It is confirmed that Tom Hanks and Justin Bieber (who just happened to be in town) are featuring in the video. Justin took to re-tweeting the ad for Carly’s track on his Twitter.
I really really really really really really like you— Justin Bieber (@justinbieber) March 2, 2015
The video is yet to be released but Carly has performed the song on Good Morning America and she is also set to perform the song on Jimmy Kimmel Live on March 5th. Experts are predicting that this might be Carly’s next big hit after “Call Me Maybe” and the video will definitely play a big role in determining its success. If it creates a big enough splash, “I Really like You” might be dominating the Spring of 2015.
