Nokia Brings out its X Platform of Android Devices

Nokia has brought out its first Android smartphone in its X platform of devices. The X, X+ and XL figure among gadgets in this category.

Nokia has just come up with its X and X+ not to mention XL smartphones. The X platform by Nokia has shown that it is capable of holding the audience’s attention. The Android OS is being featured on the X software platform. The Nokia X has among other services on it: BBM, Facebook, LINE, Skype and Twitter. 

Besides these the Lumia and Asha Series are reflecting the new philosophy too. At the Mobile World Congress 2014, Nokia introduced its X platform of devices. Nokia and Android have got a good thing going. The best applications are lined up for entry to the X Series. 

“Today Windows Phone is the fastest growing mobile ecosystem in the world, and we continue to see incredible momentum with our Lumia smartphones,” said Bryan Biniak, Vice President and General Manager, Developer Experience at Nokia. “Now, with the introduction of the Nokia X family of devices, we’re delivering the same design, quality and innovation Nokia is known to lower price points to capture the fastest-growing segment of the smartphone market.”

The X smartphones feature the best state-of-the-art inner technological parts. The all three Nokia X smartphones announced today are Androids. They are basically a European product and worth their weight in Euros. The Nokia-Android-Windows nexus is all set to benefit tech geeks around the world. And the X Series have something new and exciting about it which makes it simply irresistible. 

Every smartphone fulfils the basic need of communication and entertainment not to mention information access. It is virtually a world within this world where you get everything from services to products and experiences within the span of a split second. All you have to do is click a few buttons and your every wish will be granted. 

And these three X family smartphones have some variations in features suggested by their names. The Nokia X is the entry level member of the X family. Its specs include a 4-inch IPS LCD display of resolution 800 x 480 pixel, 1GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8225 processor, 512MB RAM, up to 32GB MicroSD memory, and a 3MP fixed camera at rear end. It will be available in green, black, white, yellow, cyan and red.

The Nokia X+ offers you a little more, as its name suggests. The screen size, camera and processor are the same as in Nokia X. However, it includes 768MB RAM and a 4GB MicroSD internal memory card is included in it with up to 32GB extendable MicroSD memory. It comes in the same colors as the Nokia X.

Last but not least, Nokia XL is the biggy. As its name suggest, the Nokia XL is the larger Android smartphone yet of Nokia X family. It has a display screen of 5-inches but of same 800 x 480 pixel resolution. The Nokia XL also boasts 768MB RAM, the free MicroSD card. The processor is same in all three devices. However, the Nokia XL has both front and rear cameras. It has a 2MP front-facing camera for Skype calls, as well as a 5MP rear camera with autofocus and flash. The color options are same for X and X+ smartphones except the bright orange replaces the red with Nokix XL model.

With the Nokia X, X+ and XL what you have in your hands is virtually the globe in miniature form. And the power of Android supplements the pre-existing strength Nokia possessed as a world-renowned symbol of connectedness. Is it any wonder that one day such diverse companies and organizations as Nokia and Microsoft not to mention the Android platform got together to better the situation for the entire global village.

“Our deliberate approach is to offer four tiers of products including our affordable entry-level devices like the new Nokia 220; our entry-level Asha touch phones like the new Nokia Asha 230; our new Nokia X, Nokia X+ and Nokia XL smartphones primarily for growth economies; and our Lumia portfolio, which is where we introduce the greatest innovation and provide full compatibility with the Microsoft experience,” he added.

The X Series has a lot going for it. And one of these qualities is super electronic technology that meshed in with classic silicon computer chops. Together they will rock the world indeed!
