Lumia 430 Dual SIM is Microsoft’s most affordable Lumia

Upon launch the availability will be limited to a few select countries only

Microsoft doesn’t want to target only a small specific segment of the market. It fully understands the need to reach out to the masses and for this reason it has added the latest Lumia 430 Dual SIM to its smartphones’ list as a blessing for those who want to stay on a budget but at the same time not compromise on the quality. Keeping the overall experience uncompromised, the new Lumia based on Windows Phone 8.1 is going to retail for $70 only and hence it has come to be known as the most affordable Lumia phone.

Microsoft has announced the release of the phone which is going to next month and the issue of the internals getting obsolete has also been taken care of with the promise that it is going to get the Windows 10 upgrade.

Moving on the specs of the phone, it doesn’t appear to be the cheapest Lumia on the market. It features a dual-core, 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and you can enjoy Microsoft Office, Skype, and up to 30GB of free OneDrive storage right out of the box. Apart from the 8 GB onboard storage, you can expand through microSD to 128 GB. The phone sports a 4-inch WVGA display and as the name suggests it comes with the Smart Dual SIM technology.

“The Lumia 430 Dual SIM continues our commitment to combining the right hardware, software, services, and apps with the right price to give people a smartphone they can afford and be proud to use.”

However, the phone, which is going to come put in bright orange and black is only going to be available in selected countries including the Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific, Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, and India. There is still no confirmation regarding whether or not Microsoft plans to expand the availability to North America or other parts of Europe.
