Zayn Malik Quits One Direction to be Normal

Zayn Malik has officially quit the band One Direction to lead a normal life away from the media attention and speculations.

Zayn Malik of the boy band One Direction has decided to quit the band to live a normal life. Zayn previously quit the world tour due to stress and has always been troubled by the media scrutiny he has received as a result of fame. 

The news was announced yesterday in a statement on the official Facebook page of One Direction. The statement shared the details as after five years of being in One Direction Zayn Malik has decided to leave.

Other member such as Harry, Liam, Louis and Niall will continue the world tour and remain in the band. The foursome will also be working on their fourth studio album at the end of 2015.

The post also included statements from both Zayn himself and the other members of the band. According to Zayn his life with One Direction has been an amazing experience, however after five long years it is the right time for him to leave the band.

Zayn further went on to apologise to the fans that will be saddened by the news but he has to do what he feels is right in his heart. Zayn further elaborated he came to the decision of quitting One Direction because he wants to be a normal 22 year old.

Zayn Malik wants to be away from the media scrutiny and relax a bit in his life. Zayn then proclaimed he has four best friends for life in Harry, Liam, Louis and Niall who will continue to be the best band in the world.

According to the joint statement by the four members of what is left of One Direction they are all really sad to see Zayn leave the band but they also respect his decision. The last years have been more than amazing for them all and they have all experienced so much together and the five of them will always remain friends. The four of them will continue with the band in the tour and will be recording their fourth album this year.

Finally a statement by Simon Cowell the benefactor of the boy band was also included in the post. Simon firstly thanked Zayn for everything he has done for One Direction and said he remembers meeting Zayn in 2010 and has grown very fond and proud of him as a person since.

Simon elaborated he has seen Zayn grow into confidence and will be very sad to see him leave. But the fans should be assured the band One Direction will continue to live in the future.
