Iggy Azalea on Britney Spears ‘Pretty Girls’

Iggy Azalea shared details about the collaboration between her and Britney Spears on the song ‘Pretty Girls’ at the red carpet of the iHeart Radio Awards.

When Iggy Azalea gave an interview to MTV on the red carpet of iHeart Radio Awards she revealed some interesting details about the collaborations between her and Britney Spears. Iggy and Britney had been working on their collaboration since November and as far as we know the song is called ‘Pretty Girls’. Iggy revealed the making of the song has been quite a journey.

According to Iggy she was asked to collaborate on the song ‘Pretty Girls’ by Britney and it was Britney’s song. But Britney wasn’t sure when her album will be out so Iggy gave the option of featuring the song ‘Pretty Girls’ on her album and even rewrote some of it.

Iggy further claimed in the interview she tried to keep the song and make it hers but Britney suddenly called and announced she will be releasing her next album soon, so Iggy had to give back the song. Iggy then joked its Britney Spears you have to do what she wants!

So all in all Britney’s album is ready and ‘Pretty Girl’s will be the first single off the album. The single will be released on the 5th of /4/this year and has been described by Iggy as a cool power house duet.

Iggy further shared the song is a real duet between two female artists, and Iggy has some serious chorus. Iggy isn’t just making a cameo in the song but both Britney and Iggy have their own verses and Iggy loves the entire setting. 

Iggy then gave more insight into how Britney has also become one of her good friends. Iggy claimed Britney is super nice and when Britney came to Iggy’s house to have lunch she had no idea what to expect from Britney but both of them really got along.

Iggy confessed she repeatedly texts Britney with ideas about the video and Britney has been real sweet about it, even though Iggy gets annoying with her texts at times. Iggy then finished the interview by saying she is super excited about the song and has epic plans underway. We can’t wait to see what both the blond divas came up with on their collaboration.
