The event will be held in New York next month.
LG is sending invitations to an event on April 28th, where something that looks and feels great will be revealed. LG’s teaser has a “Save The Date” caption in the upper left corner and a “See The Great, Feel The Great” caption below it. It’s worth noting that the “G“ on the word Great has been emphasized to indicate the name of the device.
Judging from the clues, it looks like LG is getting ready to announce its next-generation flagship smartphone, the G4. Although we’ll never find out until next month, various publications have been reporting about LG’s plan to launch the G4 in April. The alleged benchmarks of the device were also previously leaked.
But, if the rumors are true, then the LG G4 will likely sport a 5.5-inch display with a 2,560 x 1,440 resolution, a 15-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 7-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 1.8GHz Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The event will be held in New York, although LG is also holding a similar event in London, Seoul, Singapore, and Istanbul.
