The GTA will be a true-life account of a fight between the creator of Grand Theft Auto and a Miami lawyer
Fans of the biggest gaming title Grand Theft Auto would be over the seventh heaven on getting to know about the true-life account GTA which centers around the fight between between the creator of Grand Theft Auto and a Miami lawyer who wanted the game to be banned because of its violence content. But even more excited would be the Potter fans who would see Daniel Radcliffe starring in this adaption.
Negotiations are currently underway and Radcliffe will play Sam Houser, the British co-founder and president of Rockstar Games. The name as we all know requires no introduction – Rockstar Games is the developer of GTA along with many other known titles including Max Payne and Red Dead. Houser is best known for his efforts that went into transforming the GTA title into the world’s biggest franchises. However, alongside this he has also upped the violence content.
Real life Grand Theft Auto drama is going to be directed by British director Owen Harris who is known for working on episodes of Britain’s Misfits and Black Mirror. The shooting for the movie is expected to kick off by April 20th and will be an adoption of a book by David Kushner titled Jacked: The Outlaw Story of Grand Theft Auto.
A constant war had been waging between activist attorney Jack Thompson and Houser and Rockstar Games. GTA wasn’t the only prey of Thompson. He was an unorthodox Florida attorney and had also attacked various media companies for pushing rap and sex onto the airwaves. However, the GTA title had become his obsession and he was at odds with the increased level of violence in the video game industry. Luckily for GTA, he was disbarred in 2008 for his impulsive behavior.
