Did you know that tears don’t fall in space? This is just one of several real Astronaut problems NASA is tweeting about this night engaging with Comedy Central’s Midnight late night game show.
Need something to pass the time until the Apple Watch Pre-order starts at midnight Pacific? How about learning about Astronaut problems. NASA has posted a series of Tweets highlighting problems Astronauts encounter in space. Some of the problems are quite entertaining, like what happens when an astronaut cries. The photo above shows what happens. The tears do not fall.
#AstronautProblems is the top trending hashtag on Twitter right now. The hashtag got started by the Late Night Game Show Midnight hosted by Nerdist on Comedy Central. NASA jumped on the opportunity to engage a huge crowd on Twitter with tweets about the “real” astronaut problems. Besides crying, NASA highlights that there is no Pizza delivery in space, that astronauts have to work out 2 hours per day to maintain muscle and that there is no shower in space. A video shows how an astronaut is washing her hair.
