The Saturday Night Cold open is one of the best in a while. Bill Clinton aka “Daryl Hammond” also appears in the skit. He drops lines like if there had been phones that could record video in the 90’s he would be in jail.
SNL Clinton breaks out laughing when mentioning Martin O’Malley as one of her democratic challengers. The 5 minute video is comedy gold and SNL got lucky that Clinton timed her announcement for today making the SNL segment not only comedy gold but very timely.
Reports that Hillary Clinton’s announcement to run for the US Presidency is imminent started appearing a week ago. On Friday reports appeared that Sunday, April 12th will be the day Hillary Clinton will announce to run for President the 2nd time. She lost in 2008 against Obama in the Democratic vote.
The announcement will likely be made on Hillary Clinton’s Twitter account. She has over 3.1 million followers. The number will likely go up sharply after the announcement and her announcement is expected to top the trending hashtags on Sunday. Clinton takes a page out of Obama’s grass root social media campaign that helped him win the election in 2008.
