Japanese Airlines will be featuring the pudgy robot R2-D2 from the Star Wars series of he 80s on its jets.

All Nippon Airways which is Japan’s official airlines will be featuring a Star Wars jet in the coming fall season. This will have painted on its whole length a picture of R2-D2.

The Boeing 787 will have the R2-D2 logo which will surely amuse all those whose childhoods were spent watching Star Wars on television. Actually the blue and white lines of R2-D2 will be emblazoned on the nose of the jet airliner making for much amusement and merriment.

A video clip of such a model airliner was downloaded recently on YouTube. The graphic details show the robot’s various intricate parts. There were two robots, R2-D2 and another one, that formed a pair aboard the Star Wars franchise.

As for the back end of the airplane, it will depict a huge logo of the Star Wars film message. This resembles the Pokemon projects in the past when cute little colorful Pikachus were drawn on the sides of the Japanese jet airliners.

With the Star Wars project up in the air, travelling will be enhanced (at least psychologically if not physically) by having a logo of R2-D2 on the planes.

As for the seating rearrangement of the airbus jet airliner, it too shall undergo some revision and much-needed changes. Giving the passengers a first class experience is what it is all about. And Japan is a technologically strong society that wills its way through things.

Watch below the video of Star Wars R2-D2 JET.
