Apple’s Jony Ive reveals Apple Watch w/ exclusive collection of Sport band colors at Milan Design Week
The PR tour for the Apple Watch seems to have kicked off just right and the hype has reached a new level with Apple’s design chief Jony Ive showing off the device and revealing an exclusive collection of different Sport band colors which have not been seen before in public. The bands will be shown off in Milan with the Salone Del Mobile Design Fair going in full swing in Itlay. Many Apple executives attended the fair including the marketing head Phil Schiller and designer Marc Newson.
The red sport band has caught a lot of attention after its image was posted on Twitter a day before and now Apple has an entire range of band colors which will be showcased at the event in Italy. As far as the image on Instagram says, Apple has readied dark blue, light pink, red, and yellow Sport bands which Apple hadn’t talked of earlier.
Those invited to the Design Week event in Milan also have the privilege of trying on the Apple Watch with a band of their choice. Designer Karl Lagerfeld was also spotted with an Apple Watch which was paired with a gold link bracelet but this band seems to have no authentication that it belongs to Apple. The ones attending the event have been invited by Apple design Marc Newson who recently joined the company.
