Color around the Galaxy S6 edge camera ring is reportedly peeling off easily
Looks like Samsung has a lot on its hands to worry about. First it was targeted with the curved display of the Edge and then a similar to Bendgate issue was keeping it on its feet. Regardless of how positive the reviews have been about the latest Galaxy S6 pair, there are some visible problems with the phone. Another part of the phone seems to have compromised on the quality as pointed out by a Greek report which claims that the color around the Galaxy S6 edge camera ring can peel off quite easily.
The color above the aluminum ring has the tendency to peel off and it cant seem to even tolerate the impact of a few fingers rubbing on it. The Greek report comes along with a video which shows the ring peeling off color but unfortunately there is little in the video that we can understand (would have been great if we had a Greek to English translator).
The video features a white Galaxy S6 Edge and hence we are not sure whether the Galaxy S6 suffers from the same quality issue or not. Another possibility might be that this could just be an isolated accident. The report explains how the ring around the camera is unable to properly catch the color which therefore peels away easily.
Apparently, this problem could worsen for those who are using the phone in a case (which majority would be since this is an expensive phone). Since the case rubs against the back of the phone, there would lesser chances of this occurring if you use this without any case.
