You can now backup Whatsapp conversations to Google Drive

The updated version on Android alone supports the backup fetaure

Recently we have all been loving all the updates which have been introduced to our favorite Whatsapp and the most recent one has yet again made us happy. We can take screenshots to save our important conversations but the original conversation cannot be saved. But thanks to this app which changes things now – the new update lets you save all your Whatsapp conversations on Google Drive. According to Beta News, the company’s CEO has announced that they have hit the mark of 800 million active users.

However, the update so far has only been introduced to the Android Platform and is available on its latest version v2.12.45 for Android. You can download the updated version from the company’s official website. Whatsapp users has previously enjoyed an offline conversation backup existed before but this new feature with online backup is more convenient for the users.

The iOS and Windows Phone platforms still haven’t gotten the update and surprisingly even Google’s Play Store doesn’t get to enjoy it.
