Apple Sells 3 Million Apple Watches

Analysts predict the Apple Watch Sport will be the most sold version.

The requests for orders keep popping up ever since Apple opened the pre-orders for the upcoming Apple Watch, and it seems that all had been waiting for this one smartwatch and as if this was exactly what the monotonous industry had been waiting for. The orders continued to pour down like rain and now the recent estimates from Think Big Analytics, Carl Howe, state that Apple might have already sold 3 million watches and the watch hasn’t even come out into the markets yet.

Howe has further estimated that the company is going to produce 2 million a month in /4/and June, but this is not going to be sufficient for the big market which the smartwatch has managed to capture in all this time. For obvious reasons, the basic Sports version of the Apple Watch is going to be the most sold of all the versions as it is the cheapest and still gives you the Apple experience. The Apple Watch Sport has already gained 1.8 million units of sales and this is only going to continue after the watch hits the market. The Apple Watch version comes next with 1.2 million units sold while the expensive Watch Edition is at around 40,000.

Most of the people still think that Apple is charging too much for the other two expensive versions because the three versions mostly only differ based on their external cases and only for this Apple will be securing huge margins on the two higher end versions.
