The company is going to release its proper international flagship in /4/
For all those who were disappointed with news of the Japan-exclusive Xperia Z4, it is time to let things settle down because Sony is definitely not going to leave a huge chunk of its customers or fans disappointed. The Xperia Z4 was officially announced in Japan earlier today and also introduced a major change by upgrading to the Snapdragon 810 chip. Obviously many of us had been wondering why Sony would want to keep its major phone low profile and now the reason has been revealed – the phone, since the very beginning, was intended to be for the home market alone.
Fans need not be disappointed because the talk of the town says Sony already has another flagship in the pipeline which will soon emerge on the horizon by /4/this year. Of course Sony wasn’t going to spend the entire year without any flagship, considering the need to compete got even fiercer.
So far we only know that a phone is coming ahead for the summer but what we don’t are the details which haven’t been talked of as yet. All we can say is that rumors indicated that the alleged flagship phone could possibly have an upgrade in the resolution department. In the company’s prior announcements, it was clear that Sony would now concentrate more on the user experience instead of just focusing on the hardware upgrades. This means that we can expect an improved Android OS and more proprietary apps.
So it has officially been confirmed now that the Xperia Z4 isn’t the flagship of the year. We would have to wait just a bit longer for what we all had been waiting for as the company is on its way to introducing the international, more advanced flagship smartphone.
