You might think Kermit the Frog came to life if you caught a glimpse at the newest animal The Costa Rican Amphibian Research Center just announced – the glass frog.
The new species — Hyalinobatrachium dianae — was found on the Caribbean foothills of Costa Rica. The frog was named after Janet Diane Kubicki, the mother of Brian Kubicki, the study’s senior author. The Center announced their findings via Facebook:

This marks a change in the climate of Costa Rica, as many were starting to worry about the death of frogs and other amphibians due to global warming.
