- Paris Hilton’s Little Dog Tinkerbell dies at the age of 14 human years (72 small dog years)
Socialite and celebrity “It Girl”, Paris Hilton’s little dog Tinkerbell that accompanied her everywhere died in its 14th year.
It was quite some time (in dog years) before Paris Hilton’s mutt gave up the ghost. Tinkerbell was the cute teensy weensy chihuahua that was by Paris Hilton’s side in a Mary-had-a-little-Lamb fashion.
Why, the small world was even in a Guess ad flanking Hilton’s goddess frame as she wore a golden bikini. Paris bought Tinkerbell in 2002 after she saw Legally Blonde in which Reese Witherspoon carried a similar mini toy dog.
The female chihuahua had a luxurious life being a celeb’s dog but also had to be in the spotlight all the time which might have been stressful even for a canine. Paris Hilton often posed with the dog and mostly kept her smothered in her large purse.
Tinkerbell went missing in action when thieves entered Paris Hilton’s apartment in 2004. While Paris said she would give $6000 to anybody who handed her back her dog, the chihuahua reappeared in a few days much to the relief of the celeb.
Tinkerbell must have got a case of sibling rivalry since there were over 24 other dogs that Paris managed to adopt after taking in Tinkerbell from a company. Upon her death, Paris was heartbroken and very sad.
She spoke of how it felt like she had lost a member of her extended family.

Paris had led a fast life of fun and excess. But the death of her female pet chihuahua has left her devastated beyond words. Our heartfelt empathy and condolences go out to you, Paris!
