Apple says they are working quickly to process the orders
Those who had placed their orders for the Apple Watch would certainly know today what excitement really means. The pre orders which had been confirmed with delivery estimates to those placing the orders of 4-6 week have now transferred from “Processing Items” to “Preparing for Shipment” on the Apple Online Store. The lucky ones who placed the orders are also stating that their debit or credit cards are finally being charged by Apple.
Looks like people wouldn’t have to wait for too long before they can enjoy their smarwatches because Apple has confirmed that some order might reach their customers even before the stated time period. The orders are being taken care of in the order they were placed and Apple says that it is working quickly to process these orders because some customers are still waiting in the line.
“We’re happy to be updating many customers today with the news that their Apple Watch will arrive sooner than expected,” an Apple spokeswoman told BuzzFeed News. “Our team is working to fill orders as quickly as possible based on the available supply and the order in which they were received. We know many customers are still facing long lead times and we appreciate their patience.”
Apple Watch deliveries will begin on April 28th as scheduled before but the number of customers receiving the order on the very first day still hasn’t been stated and perhaps even Apple isn’t sure about that.
