No need to take out smartphones now

Keep is surely a keeper for a lot of those who are constantly in need of jotting down tiny nothings and sometimes extremely important things. No more notepads and no more pens in your bag, thanks to Google’s cloud-based note taking app. However, this isn’t practical enough for many people because sometimes reaching for a pad and a pen across the desk is easier then unlocking your phone, launching the program and then opening new notes to type in your stuff.

However, as things improve and we have the amazing new smartwatches, Google has decided to improve the way the app works. This updated way of taking notes is going to be easier than you would ever have thought possible. But to benefit from this, you would need an Android Wear watch on your hands.

The official Google Android Blog states that Android users who have devices which run on Ice Cream Sandwich and newer will be able to directly access the Note app on their watches without having to take out the smartphones. Users will not even have t exhaust their hands – just say “OK Google, open Keep” and your OS is going to open the app for you. While you take notes directly from your watch, you can still make use of the features like swipe-and-tap navigation and adding reminders to existing notes.
