The baby number for British royals William and Kate will be announced on Twitter.

Prince George’s birth in 2013 was still announced the traditional way only. This will change for Royal Baby Number 2. The birth of the Royal Baby will be announced on Twitter minutes after the event according to The Sunday Times. Why the Royals decided to do that is not clear. Do they want to appear more modern? But then the appeal of the Royals is that they are more retro than anything.

There will be still an easel placed in the foreground of Buckingham Palace with the details and doctor’s signatures, but the announcement Tweet will go out first. It is certain that #RoyalBaby will be the number one trending hashtag when the baby comes. The Tweet will go out on multiple Twitter channels that the Britain Monarchy is operating including Kensington Palace.

Britons and fans of the Royals are waiting outside St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington since days for the birth of the second child of Duke William and Duchess Catherine. According to a report on The Telegraph the due date was April 23. The Royal Baby number 2 is 4 days late by now.

Many Royal fans hope that the Royal Baby number 2 will be a little cute princess.
