Microsoft Build 2015 Keynote Streams Online

Microsoft kicks off Build 2015 with a keynote at 8:30am PDT.

The Build 2015 developer conference is beginning today with the keynote. The Build 2015 taking place in the Moscone Center in San Francisco will cover all Microsoft platforms including Windows, Azure, Office 365 and more. Developers The focus will be Windows 10, which will roll out later this year.

The hottest Build 2015 rumor is that Microsoft is supposed to enable Android Apps on Windows Phones. The rumor stems from Microsoft expert Paul Thurott and caused quite a stir. Microsoft developers are not in favor of opening up Windows to the Android app universe. Thurott updated his report with a clarification saying that Microsoft works on Android apps for Windows Phones, but he does not expect Microsoft to unveil the solution at the Build 2015.

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella is expected to reveal more Windows 10 details and possibly some mobile phone news. The Microsoft smartphones are still just a marginal player in the global smartphone market. Microsoft is not getting any traction.

Microsoft is also supposed to reveal new developments in its incredible Hololens project. VR is a big topic this year and Microsoft has with Hololens a project that could help make virtual reality go mainstream.

Microsoft is streaming the Build 2015 keynote live on their Channel 9 site. The Build 2015 keynote will start at 8:30am PDT. All developer sessions will also be made available as online videos. The Build 2015 conference sold out within 24 hours in January of this year.
