The author of the Harry Potter Series, J.K. Rowling, said she was sorry for the character named Fred’s demise in the written installments from her creative mind.

J.K. Rowling is clearly contrite. The fact that she had to kill off one of the characters among many in her past novels was a necessary evil. She is really really sorry about the euthanasia of Fred.

A Weasley, Fred died in the Battle of Hogwarts in one of her novels which came out seventeen years ago. She is speaking out now since the occasion is an anniversary of that book of hers.

Rowling admitted that she had to apologize for that one death in the space of an anniversary. She also said it was the most difficult thing she had to endure but it was something that was a foregone conclusion.

The famous female author, who went from rags to riches with her Harry Potter series which became a world-wide hit phenomenon with children, has also tried her hand at other pursuits in writing. After all, she does not want to get typecast as the lady who wrote the magic, wizardry and witchcraft books.

Her newest book which will be out soon is titled Very Good Lives. She is keeping mum about what the next Harry Potter book will be called though. The art of keeping her fans on the verge of finger-biting suspense is something that Rowling has really mastered well. And that is good for her (as well as her fans) indeed.
