Windows 10 is going to bring this new emoji which is being referred to as “Middle Finger,” “Rude Finger,” and “Flipping The Bird”
Companies have to be really careful about promoting ideas and a huge risk is usually involved with the portrayal of negative emotions. This is exactly why Facebook hasn’t come around to that ‘dislike’ button we have all wanted since such a long time and also why Apple and Google haven’t been able to fulfill their users’ wishes regarding some new emoji styles. Microsoft, however, has taken a big leap – its OS is the first one to introduce the “middle finger” emoji.
This is not the first flipping emoji attempt by Windows. Earlier on, flipping the bird emoji had emerged as part of part of the Unicode 7 update but there was no sign of “Reversed Hand With Middle Finger Extended Emoji” on Windows 8 or 8.1.
Windows 10, however, is going to bring this new emoji which is being referred to as “Middle Finger,” “Rude Finger,” and “Flipping The Bird”. This news has been confirmed by Emojipedia which has kept track of all the emoji availability in Windows. It includes details on Windows 8 and its support for popular textual symbols(color emoji was supported on the updated Windows 8.1).
Windows has quite some advantage over all other OS which don’t support this symbol. So in case you feel really angry and want to flip that finger at someone, you will only be able to do so from your Windows Phone. The emoji isn’t supported by Apple’s iOS and Mac OS platforms or Google’s Android and Chrome software.
