The 18 years old Asa Butterfield has previously been known for his roles in films such as Martin Scorsese’s film ‘Hugo’ and as the character of Bruno in film ‘The Boy in Stripped Pyjamas’.

Asa is right now the number one choice for a teenage Spider-Man and /4/star in the next installment. However other reports suggest five others young actors are also being considered for the role, so Asa /4/be the number one choice right now but he /4/not definitely star as Spidey.

The Spider-Man franchise was previously the property of Sony Pictures Studio but then they entered a right sharing partnership with Marvel Studios. The partnership will allow the character of Spider-Man to appear in other Marvel Universe films and it is widely believed the first appearance by Spider-Man will occur in the next Captain America: Civil War installment.

Before Andrew Garfield the role of Spider-Man was played by Tobey McGuire and if a new reboot occurs it will be the third Spider-Man in recent years.
