- LG G4 Will Begin Rolling Out This Week to Consumers in Key Markets Worldwide
The new LG flagship device will be up for sale worldwide and this has been one of the most anticipated phones of this year.
This new phone is the latest LG flagship device and it will surely compete with the HTC One M9, Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, Nexus 6 and the iPhone 6 and 6 plus. It is on sale in Korea because LG is a Korean company.
The LG G4 will head to Hong Kong and after that it could come to Turkey, Russia and Singapore. LG said in a statement that the phone would hit most of the Europe, North America, CIS, Southeast Asia, Middle East/Africa and South/Central America over the next months.
The company has still not released any specific timing for the releases. The LG CEO said that the new LG G4 device is not like any other smartphone. He said that other devices are becoming fairly commoditized in terms of features but there is a lot to be optimistic about what LG’s latest flagship has to offer.
The screen of the phone is 5.5 inches and it uses the new quantum display technology. The new technology is used for better color reproduction. The new redesigned camera has a large sensor now. The back camera is 16 MP and front camera is 8 MP.
The phone has a 64-bit hexacore CPU Snapdragon 808 processor. The phone also includes a hand crafted leather back. The back of the phone has a subtle curve for improved feel in the hand. Google productivity apps come pre-loaded.
Google Chrome is the default browser and the phone also has support for Chromecast. The price of the phone is still unknown. LG said that the price would vary worldwide. Early reports suggested that the phone would cost around $600 without contract.
If you are in the US, the phone might cost you $200 on a contract. So we can say that the price of the phone would be somewhat near to the price of the Samsung Galaxy S6. The S6 Edge is $100 more expensive.
