Huawei
Huawei watch is priced at $387 on Mobilefun with a pricier leather band version.
We couldn’t help but fall in love with the Huawei watch when it was unveiled at MWC in March. One could even say that it was probably the best Android Wear watch released to date. However while everything else was known about the gorgeous smartwatch, the pricing was left in the shadow. Until recently. The prices were revealed from Mobilefun which has listed the Huawei watch in black, silver and gold. Interestingly, the gold model that features a leather wristband is more expensive than its metal band sibling. The Gold model (leather wristband) will set you back $452 whereas the Black and Silver (metal band) model are coming in hot for $ 387.
We were always expecting the Huawei watch to be on the pricier side owing to its gorgeous look and premium design. A brief rundown on the specs of Huawei watch reveals a 1.4” round AMOLED display with a 400 x 400 resolution (286 ppi), a 1.2 GHz Snapdragon processor, 512 MB of Ram, 4GB of internal storage and tops it off with a 300 mAh battery. The Huawei watch connects to your smartphone via Bluetooth 4.1. It also features a heart-rate monitor, a six-axis motion sensor, a barometer and various other sensors that help the user monitor the amount of calories burned, heart rate, height climbed, count steps, the amount of distance travelled and much more.
We really expect 2015 to shape up the smartwatch industry. With every manufacturer presenting its best offerings on the table, the competition is indeed fierce. We believe Huawei is on the right track with its Huawei watch, and it’s got the perfect balance of beauty and power to give the competitors a good run for their money.
