The documentary is named ‘Hot Girls Wanted’ and is produced by the much famous Rashida Jones. The documentary basically takes the viewer’s inside the world of young adult films stars.
The documentary has been termed as shocking and outrageous in equal measure. According to a statement by Netflix the documentary has been created not only to expose this awful business but to serve as a warning to all teenage girls and parents that good opportunities especially online are never what they seem. The documentary has been directed by Jill Bauer and Ronna Gradus and is now streaming on Netflix.
According to the documentary the biggest pull to the porn industry is the promise of fame but most of the young and new porn stars remain unknown. Jones stated that rappers in their songs are always talking about porn stars and many people have become really famous due to amateur sex tapes and now are well respected.
The documentary also explains that more people visit porn sites in a month than Twitter, Netflix and Amazon combined. That is why the industry is regularly on the hunt for new talent as they have to meet the never ending demand of customers.
It took Jones and the directors over eight months to shoot the documentary. Jones explains that it is a very short life in porn unless these girls break out. Over time the castings get slow and the choices get much harder. Different types of porn such as torture porn are then introduced and other stuff that the girls /4/not have even wanted to sign up for.
